3d Rendering Macbook Pro
I did these 3d models and renders in November 2016 just after the launch of new Macbook Pro Touch Bar. I wanted to test myself in Maya modeling and realistic render on industrial products.
Some modeling tasks were very challenging, especially the bottom part of the apple MacBook (because of screw holes on a curve surface). All 3d Maya poly mesh. I made the realistic renders in Maya using Arnold. You can Download this Maya 3D Model from TS. (Apple Macbook Pro 3D models are done in Autodesk Maya, renders in Arnold Render. 3D models of MacBook Pro are available for download in FBX, OBJ, 3DS, C4D and other file formats for 23 software. Models are ready for render.

Majority of 3D model design, texture and rendering softwares support all popular operating systems like MacOS, Windows and Linux. So to answer your question, yes a MacBook pro is a decent choice for making 3D models.
- Hey guys i was wondering if y’all can help me with some decisions regarding the purchase of my new computer I usually work with SketchUp (3D modeling), AutoCad (Plans) and Photoshop for image editing im planning to buy the base model of the new macbook pro 13¨ 2.0GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz 8GB 1866MHz memory 256GB PCIe-based SSD Intel Iris Graphics.
- Not ideal for fast video editing or 3D rendering: you want the Macbook Pro 16 with its dedicated video card for that. – Webcam is still limited to 720p HD (1280 x 720, 0.9 Megapixels). Come on Apple, this is 2020 and it’s disappointing when compared to the Ipad or Iphone.

Rendering 3d Graphics
My question is, has anyone had any experience using 3D modeling software with the MBP? How does it run? Is it laggy at all? How about for rendering software? The current software I use is:
Alias StudioTools 2009
Rhino 4.0
Alias Showcase 2009
Maya
StrataPro
Vray
Bunkspeed Hypershot[/B]
I know, for starters, most of these programs are currently Windows-only, and that I'll have to bootcamp in Windows mode, but as this is purely a hardware question, I am not concerned so much with OS issues. Does anyone have experience using these programs on a MBP? How do they run? Problems/Issues/Criticisms? Thanks for all your input!
