Google has updated its Chrome browser to version 60 with support for Apple’s MacBook Pro Touch Bar (via 9to5Mac). With the update, you can visit View > Customize Touch Bar to add shortcuts to commands within Chrome to the Touch Bar like a search bar, the bookmark button, back/forward controls, and a home key. Whether they actually come in handy will depend on how often you actually use the Touch Bar, but I can imagine this update being pretty convenient for a number of users.
This update also brings new APIs for Payment Request and Credential Management so developers can begin working on new apps that incorporate the technology. Chrome 60 is currently rolling out to Mac, Windows, and Linux users.
