Im new to this and I really want to put mods on my game but Im really not sure of how to do anything. I heard forge is the best to go through but Im not sure what Im supposed to do what to download it on a macbook pro. Id really appreciate some help! Download Minecraft for Mac to explore worlds and build structures in this adventure game. Minecraft has had 1 update within the past 6 months.
Minecraft Download Macbook Pro
- right click the finder icon and click 'go to folder'
- type : '~Library/ Application Support
- Find the minecraft folder, Backup your Saves, (drag the saves folder onto the desktop) *OPTIONAL*
- delete the minecraft folder, not the application.
- Open the minecraft Launcher (it will take a while to start up)
- Put in login info and when its loaded up, press 'play'
- The blue bar will take a minute or two...
- And then... it should start normally
- Find the map you want to download (type it into the search bar on the top left of this website). Goto your desktop and hold 'alt' then click 'library' on the toolbar and goto aplication support then find the minecraft folder and goto the saves folder (this is where your minecraft maps go) now drag the downloaded map into your saves folder and your done:D.
- It's Minecraft, but with realistic physics. Mobs are floppy and blocks fall realistically instead of floating. Controls are pretty much the same as in actual Minecraft, but you can also just hold the Shift key to sprint instead of double tapping W. Also the E key opens the crafting menu and there isn't an inventory, because I'm lazy.
- You may get in trouble and I am not responsible for anything that happens. Just go to Minecraft’s official website(Minecraft Official Site) and there will.
U dont need to repeat the steps every time u open Minecraft. You can later replace the saves folder with the new one back to where it was whenever you want at the same place where it used to be before. Hope this helped!
